A training program for different professional profiles
The audiovisual sector is undergoing an unprecedented transformation. As a training organization, Anica Academy aims to train and help audiovisual professionals to manage this change, rather than being swept along by it. Artificial intelligence does not replace human intelligence, creativity, ingenuity and professional expertise, but acts as a valuable ally, integrating itself into the traditional and indispensable production workflow in an innovative way. Recognizing the continuous evolution of AI tools, Anica Academy is offering a series of training courses aimed at the entire industry, to provide an in-depth understanding of this momentous change. The training program will be divided into a range of courses aimed at different professional profiles — covering various roles within the audiovisual creative, production and distribution chain — launching in autumn 2026 and continuing in subsequent years.
Statement of Intent
AI in compliance with regulation, legislation and ethics
Anica Academy aims to create a training program on artificial intelligence where technological innovation must always be preceded by a thorough understanding of the regulatory framework and ethical issues. The program will begin precisely with regulation, clearly defining the boundaries between what is permitted and what is not, in order to protect copyright and professional integrity.
Through this modular program, Anica Academy sets out to build new competencies, combining technical expertise with a solid ethical and legal foundation. An overview of access to national and international public funding will also be provided. Only by understanding how to use artificial intelligence as a true ally of creativity can we ensure a positive social impact and professional growth that is both innovative and deeply respectful of the sector’s values. The approach will be open to different languages and workflows: fiction, documentary and animation.
Scientific Committee
Recognizing the complexity of the subject matter, Anica Academy has established a general scientific committee to oversee the entire training program on Artificial Intelligence in cinema and the audiovisual sector. Each course will also have its own specific faculty composed of leading AI professionals and scholars.

This course is the natural follow-up to the Production Manager for Animation course, focusing on how artificial intelligence is changing and evolving this role — exploring its advantages, new working methods, and potential challenges.
