Alessandra Pastore

Alessandra Pastore has been working in the audiovisual industry for 20 years. After 10 years in documentary production, she moved into designing advanced training programmes for emerging European producers. She actively collaborates with numerous development and production funds on drafting calls for proposals and as a project expert and evaluator, both in Italy and at European level. She regularly contributes to training initiatives as a instructor. She directed the international audiovisual market Meeting Point-Vilnius in Lithuania for 5 years. Since 2016, she has been Market Manager of the When East Meets West co-production market. Since 2022, she has been working with the Ties That Bind program to strengthen collaboration between European and Asian producers. Since 2022, she has been coordinating the SIC – Settimana Internazionale della Critica (International Critics’ Week) at the Venice Film Festival.
