Full Professor of Semiotics and Director of MISP, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore

COURSES:

Armando Fumagalli is Professor of Semiotics and Director of the Master’s programme in International Screenwriting and Production at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, where he also teaches History and Industry of International Cinema and Writing and Producing for Animation on the Master’s degree course in “The Art and Industry of Narration: from Literature to Cinema and TV” within the Faculty of Linguistic Sciences. Since 1999, he has been a script consultant for Lux Vide, where he has worked on numerous international miniseries, including the three seasons of Medici: Masters of Florence (starring Dustin Hoffman and Richard Madden) and the 2021 series Leonardo (Rai – Sony Pictures Television).
He is a member of the Scientific Committee of the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia.
Together with Cassandra Albani and Paolo Braga, he edited a two-volume History of TV Series (Audino, Rome 2021).
