Bruno Monico, born in 1986. A staunch advocate of cinema as an antidote to the harsh realities of life, he demonstrated his eclectic and visionary nature from the very outset. In 2010, he graduated in “Literature, Music and Performing Arts” from La Sapienza University in Rome, subsequently furthering his studies in communication, cinema and theatre at LAMDA in London and NYFA in New York. At the same time, he worked with artists such as Giorgio Albertazzi, Gigi Proietti, Gabriele Salvatores and Bruce Mayer. Since 2011, he has been artistic director of the Ludovico Van Festival and editorial curator of major events, such as the Uto Ughi Classical Music Festival. He also works with the Rome Film Festival and on the development of the MioCinema platform. He currently curates film seasons, events and marketing activities for Circuito Cinema, where he promotes classic films and emerging filmmakers. He also works as a freelance curator and consultant and is particularly interested in issues of inclusivity and accessibility. Since 2017, he has been a Film Development and Operational Consultant at Lucky Red.
