Daniele Ongaro

He holds a degree in film history from the University of Bologna and works as a television writer, director, and audiovisual researcher.
As a writer, he has created programs on history (Correva l’anno, Storia proibita, L’Italia della repubblica), sports (Sfide, 80° Minuto), music (Grazie dei fiori, Emozioni), and documentaries (Io che sarò Roberto Baggio, Pasolini il santo infame, Gianni Brera il libero della Bassa, Augusto Daolio e i Nomadi). He has produced programs and documentaries for Rai Tre, Rai Storia, Sky Arte, History, and DMAX. He was the writer for the La7 program “Atlantide” with Andrea Purgatori.
He also specialized as an image researcher and archive producer for Italian and international documentaries and docu-series. Among these are Sanpa, Wanna, Vatican Girl, and Il giovane Berlusconi for Netflix; Ossi di seppia for Rai Play; Veneto a mano armata and La mala for Sky; Mafia Hunters for ARTE/ZDF; biographical documentaries on Modugno, Battisti, Bocelli, and La Bussola di Viareggio; and the film Berlinguer – La grande ambizione.
