Davide Serino

Davide Serino was born in Varese in 1988. He began his career as a screenwriter with the Sky Original series *1992*. Among his most recent projects are: *Esterno Notte*, Marco Bellocchio’s first series, presented at the Cannes Film Festival in 2022; The Bad Guy, an Amazon Original series, a modern-day Count of Monte Cristo set in the mafia; M, a Sky series about Benito Mussolini based on the novel of the same name by Antonio Scurati, directed by Joe Wright. Coming soon: La città proibita, the new film by Gabriele Mainetti, a story of kung fu, love, and revenge; Carême, a political and culinary series for Apple+, directed by Martin Bourboulon.
