Elettra Canovi

Elettra Canovi has been working as Head of Development at Indiana Production since 2019, based in both Milan and Rome. In her role as Creative Producer, her primary focus is on the development and creative direction of films and series with an international scope, in line with Indiana’s commitment to reaching a global audience.
Among the projects Elettra has worked on in recent years are the SKY Studios series Unwanted – Ostaggi del Mare and the TV adaptation of one of the greatest Italian novels of all time: Il Gattopardo for Netflix.
Throughout her career, she has worked on international projects such as Gomorra and Zero Zero Zero (SKY Italia), Suburra (Netflix), Spike Lee’s BlacKkKlansman, Jordan Peele’s Get Out, and Paul Schrader’s Dog Eat Dog. Since May 2025, she has served as Director of Local Original Productions at Max.
