Giorgio Bigoni

After completing a degree in Political Science and a master’s degree at Sapienza University’s Faculty of Economics in Audiovisual Business Management, he spent nine years monitoring industry developments and policy at FAPAV, the Federation for the Protection of the Audiovisual and Multimedia Content Industries. With experience at the MPA – Motion Picture Association’s EMEA office in Brussels, he has been working with ANICA since 2012 on special projects and coordinating relations with other European operators on private copying, an issue on which he has represented the audiovisual sector since 2023 at the Technical Committee established by Fondazione Copia Privata Italia. In 2017, he joined CINETEL, the company that collects data and monitors trends in the film market, becoming its Operations Manager in 2020, then Head of Operations from 2022, and Chief Operating Officer from 2025.
He is a member of the David di Donatello jury, contributes articles to leading industry publications and lectures on audiovisual media, with a particular focus on the theatrical sector, on master’s programs and specialization courses.
