Kate Lush

Kate Lush is an Intimacy Coordinator specializing in the support of young performers, a movement coach and movement teacher for actors, active in television, film and theatre. Kate works in the United Kingdom, across Europe and in South Africa, and has served as Intimacy Coordinator for Apple TV, Netflix, CBS, Amazon Prime & HBO Max, BBC, Paramount Films/+ and other industry players.
In addition to her work in Intimacy Coordination, since 2021 Kate has been director of the Safe Sets Intimacy Coordinator Training program, training intimacy coordinators worldwide in collaboration with organizations such as Anica Academy (Italy), Netflix (EMEA, South Africa/Middle East and Poland), the Kenya Film Commission, Multichoice Talent Factory and GIZ (Kenya/Rwanda), as well as IPO, NFVF and KZN Tourism and Film (South Africa).
Kate is also co-founder of IPSA (Intimacy Practitioners South Africa) and IPG (Intimacy Practitioners’ Guild EU/UK), and serves as the Cinema and TV representative within the Intimacy Coordinators branch of the British union BECTU, contributing to the drafting of industry documents.
Beyond intimacy coordination, Kate is an award-nominated actress and movement teacher. She holds a first-class BA (Hons) in Performing Arts from the University of Hertfordshire and an MA in Acting from Manchester Metropolitan University, having trained in Poland with Teatr Pieśń Kozła (“Song of the Goat”).
