Luana Fedele is a lecturer in the History of Cinema and Video at the Academy of Arts and New Technologies in Rome. She completed her PhD on the promotion and distribution strategies of Italian cinema at Sapienza University of Rome in 2023, where she has been a lecturer since 2023, working as a subject specialist with the departments of History of Cinema, Film Analysis, and Cinema and New Media, and is in charge of numerous film workshops. She is the author of national and international publications on film marketing, cultural studies and media industry studies. She co-edited the volume Romarcord. Ricerche di storia sociale del cinema a Roma (1945–1975) (Bulzoni, 2023).
She has worked as a social media manager for Multipiattaforma Rai1, MIA – International Audiovisual Market and the Renoir Film Academy.
