Mario Barbera

Mario Barbera is a senior lawyer at the international law firm Ontier, where, as a copyright law specialist, he advises nationally and internationally renowned artists, leading audiovisual production companies and, more generally, clients operating in the music, audiovisual and entertainment industries.
After graduating from LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome, he initially practised at one of Italy’s leading law firms, developing extensive and multidisciplinary expertise in providing ongoing legal assistance, both in and out of court, to the firm’s clients, specializing in civil, commercial and regulatory law.
Since 2019, he has gained specific and dedicated experience in copyright law within the entertainment sector (cinema, music, photography, television formats, etc.), the internet and new technologies, including advising on the acquisition, management, exploitation and protection of the rights of authors, performers and artists.
