Massimo Galimberti

PhD, member of the Italian Film Academy – Juror for the David di Donatello Awards and the European Film Academy.
He is General Coordinator and a member of the MIC (Ministry of Culture) Expert Committee for funding in the film and audiovisual sectors, and Coordinator and member of the Committee for funding minority co-production projects.
He was a professor at the University of L’Aquila and is currently a lecturer in cinema at Roma Tre University, La Sapienza University and the Scuola d’Arte Cinematografica Gian Maria Volonté. For years he managed a cultural centre dedicated to the audiovisual sector and was responsible for programme selection and television scheduling at Rai Movie. For almost ten years he served on the Artistic Board of the Rome Film Festival. He has worked as a story editor and as a consultant for numerous film commissions.
