Mauro Martani

Since May 2024, he has been working at Plus-one advisory srl as Chief Executive Officer and Partner.
He was CEO of Smart Plus, an integrated consultancy firm offering financial services and bespoke methodologies for the audiovisual and entertainment industries. He served as Chief Operating Officer of Fremantle and as Chief Financial Officer of all the group’s companies in Italy (Fremantle, Wildside and The Apartment). The group is one of Italy’s leading film and television producers, boasting collaborations with major directors such as Bertolucci, Crialese, Virzì, Bellocchio and Costanzo. For television, Wildside has produced major hits such as the Italian adaptation of In Treatment, 1992, 1993 and 1994, the television debut of Oscar-winning director Paolo Sorrentino with The Young Pope and The New Pope, and the adaptation of the bestseller My Brilliant Friend, based on Elena Ferrante’s tetralogy, directed by Saverio Costanzo and co-produced with Rai and HBO.
Until 2014, he worked in the banking sector, rising to the position of “Head of Planning and Control Office” (International Subsidiary Banks Division) at Intesa Sanpaolo.
