Nicola Serra

Nicola Serra is co-CEO and producer at the film production company Palomar. Since its foundation, Palomar has produced feature films, TV dramas, animated films and documentaries, with over 100 productions released over the last 10 years. In 2019, Palomar became a partner of Mediawan, France’s largest independent producer of audiovisual content.
Nicola Serra’s TV productions include: Inspector Montalbano, Braccialetti Rossi, The Young Montalbano, The Barlume Murders, Maltese, The Name of the Rose, That Dirty Black Bag, Studio Battaglia, Makari, Call My Agent: Italy, and The Count of Monte Cristo.
For cinema, he has produced critically acclaimed and award-winning films including: Leopardi, Feather, The Fury of a Patient Man, The Happy Prince, Grazie Ragazzi, Piranhas (Silver Bear at the Berlin Film Festival), Hidden Away (Silver Bear at the Berlin Film Festival), The Life Ahead (Oscar nomination and Golden Globe winner), Still Time, Palazzina LAF and The Children’s Train.
