Paolo Del Brocco

A manager, journalist and university lecturer at various institutions, Paolo Del Brocco is the Chief Executive Officer of Rai Cinema, and a member of the Management Committee of the National Cinema Museum in Turin and the European Film Academy (EFA).
A member of various international festival juries, he has been on the Variety500 list of the most influential business leaders in the media industry since 2017. Over the last 10 years, under his leadership, Rai Cinema has co-produced more than 650 Italian films and 450 documentaries, and, together with 01 Distribution, has distributed numerous Italian hits in cinemas.
Among the films that have received prestigious awards are: Caesar Must Die (Kaos Cinematografica, Stemal Entertainment, Le Talee, La ribalta – Centro Studi Enrico Maria Salerno, Rai Cinema, 2012), winner of the Golden Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival; Sacro GRA (DocLab, La Femme Endormie, Rai Cinema, 2013), Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival; Fire at Sea (Stemal Entertainment, 21 Unofilm, Cinecittà Luce, Rai Cinema, 2016), Golden Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival and Oscar nominee in 2016; Bad Tales (Pepito Produzioni, Rai Cinema, Vision Distribution, Amka Films Productions, RSI, 2020), Silver Bear for Best Screenplay at the Berlin International Film Festival; and Hidden Away (Palomar, Rai Cinema, 2020), Silver Bear at the Berlin International Film Festival.
