Serena Alfieri

A graduate in Film Studies from Roma Tre University, she began her career in the film industry in 2003 by taking part in the Fandango Lab, a workshop for young producers and directors. She has held various roles, including working as a freelance consultant for a number of production companies. From 2010 to 2016, she co-founded and served on the board of IL KINO, an independent cinema in Rome. As an executive producer, she contributed to projects such as Roan Johnson’s Fino a qui tutto bene and Carlo Sironi’s Sole (where she acted as a development consultant). Since 2013, she has worked as a line producer with the independent company Vivo Film, producing films such as Sworn Virgin, Nico, 1988, Grand Tour (Best Director Award at Cannes) and The Great Ambition. In 2021, she was selected for the EAVE Producers Workshop and in 2025 for Berlinale Talents. Since 2023, she has been working as a freelance producer, with Sara Fgaier’s Sulla Terra Leggeri selected for the 2024 Locarno Competition.
