Simone Costantino

Simone Costantino is a film and television on-set sound engineer who has been working in the field since 2001. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law and a Master’s degree from the University of Naples Federico II, and has completed a Level 1 Master’s degree in Sound and Performance Engineering at the Faculty of Communication Engineering, University of Rome Tor Vergata.
He is Vice-President of the Italian Association of Sound Technicians and a voting technical member of the David di Donatello Academy (for which he was nominated for Best Sound in 2018). He was a partner at StartupAudio SRL, where he served as an Expert Dealer for Digidesign Pro Tools (now Avid Pro Tools).
He has been a contract lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts since 2015, where he teaches the Audio and Mixing course on the three-year Cinematography program.
Since 2016, he has been a contract lecturer at the MIS (Master’s in Sound Engineering) program at the University of Rome Tor Vergata’s Faculty of Communication Engineering, where he teaches Cinematographic Direct Recording.
