Ughetta Curto

Born in 1978, she graduated in Communication Sciences from the University of Palermo in 2001. That same year, she found a job in Rome at Saatchi & Saatchi in the Accounts Department. A year later, she was hired by Daewoo Motor Company (now part of the General Motors group) in the Advertising Department, before moving on, in 2003, to the publishing house Play Press Publishing (later Play Media Company) as marketing manager and subsequently also in the press office, thanks to the experience she gained during her university years at the Sicilian daily newspaper Il giornale di Sicilia and at numerous sports press offices, which enabled her to qualify as a freelance journalist.
In 2009, after a year of gaining experience at a product placement company, she met Marco Belardi on the set of Federico Moccia’s Amore 14. The following year, she collaborated with him as head of product placement on Paolo Genovese’s film Immaturi, before being hired by Lotus Production in 2011. In 2016, she became head of the development department at Lotus Production and then, in 2022, at the newly established Greenboo Production.
