Wednesday, 15 February 2023

A book born out of the need to map a territory, to define the cardinal points of a complex system, draw its boundaries and understand its economic, entrepreneurial and creative dynamics.

Audiovisual Economics by Federica D’Urso is a practical and reasoned guide to the legal and economic mechanisms that govern this industry, aimed both at young people wishing to work in the audiovisual sector and at established professionals who are called upon to update their skills in a constantly evolving world.

Federica D’Urso has been conducting research in the field of media economics since 2005, specialising in the study of film and television markets. She has collaborated with the most representative public and private bodies in the sector and has provided consultancy on the drafting of regulatory and legislative texts at both national and regional level. She has also authored numerous specialist publications. Since 2017, she has been a contract lecturer on the course in Economics and Organisation of Cinema and Television at Sapienza – University of Rome, and teaches on the master’s programmes of several Italian universities.

Joining the author at the event were Damiano Garofalo, lecturer at Sapienza – University of Rome, and Francesca Medolago Albani, Secretary General of ANICA and Fondazione Anica Academy ETS.
